Please use the guide below if you have already scheduled a Skype for Business virtual meeting with your advisor.
Your Skype for Business Account
With your Franklin student email account, you have access to many Microsoft Office365 features, including Skype for Business. Please note that Skype for Business is a different product from Skype. If you have a Skype account, it is not connected to your student Skype for Business (Office365) account. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use Skype for your meeting with your advisor, and will need to use Skype for Business.
Access to you Skype for Business account is provided by Microsoft using your full student email address and password. The format of that email address is [username]@email.franklin.edu. For example: email@example.com
Should you meet with your advisor using Skype for Business, your advisor will send you an invite to the meeting. We suggest accepting the meeting , which will add the meeting to your calendar.
To access your calendar, please use the Apps Launcher.
If you don’t see the Calendar app, you may need to search All Apps.
Open your calendar and find the appointment. Click on the appointment and choose the Join option.
