The Mobile App
The Adobe Connect Mobile app is developed by Adobe and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Students should be able to use this app to attend live sessions. This experience is limited compared to attending sessions on a desktop or laptop computer. This method is not recommended when giving presentations, or when interacting in the room for extended time while using the microphone. For presentations, or when using your microphone for extended period of time, we suggest using a full computer for the session.
Accessing the Meet Session on a Mobile Device
There are two ways to access a Meet session through mobile after downloading the app.
Obtain a Link to the Room from your Professor.
Since the Meet/Adobe Connect room is active through the entire course, you should only need to obtain a room link to the course one time (for each course/room).
When you open the Adobe Connect app, the app should prompt you for a room URL to enter the session. Your instructor can provide that URL. Forward the following link to them with any questions: Click Here
Go through the BlueQuill mobile site
1. Open Google Chrome and head to Bluequill. Click the "Full Site" link to be taken to the login page.
2. Log in to BlueQuill.
3. Navigate to your course and click the Apps button in the top blue bar.
4. Open the Meet session through the link on the Meet app page.
5. On the next screen, click on Enter Meeting.
6. On the next screen, click Open Adobe Connect Mobile.
7. This should load the Adobe Connect room, and should allow you to chat, raise your hand, and use audio and video functionality. Audio and video functionality may be based on permissions set by your instructor.
Allowing Access to Microphone and Camera
The Mobile App may not allow access to the microphone and camera by default, depending on your phone settings. However, you can grant access to the microphone and camera using the following steps.
iPhone or iPad
1. Go into the Settings application
2. Scroll down until you locate the Adobe Connect app
3. Select the app
4. Verify the Camera and Microphone are both enabled
Android
1. Go into the Settings application
2. Locate the “Apps” section
3. Select “App Info”
