Locating Announcements Overview
Announcements, or Class Communications, can be posted by your instructor, which show up as tiles on your course home page. These announcements can be used my instructors to notify students of any important information, so make sure to keep an eye out for these.
The main difference between assignments and announcements is that course announcements have a light blue color to them and an icon that displays the letter "i". They generally look like this:
Click the announcement to open up the page containing the announcement and any other information your instructor may want to share. Announcements will typically look a lot like an assignment and they may require you to be a part of a discussion post, submit a file, attend a meet session, or use turnitin.com (see our Student Overview article for more information on these tasks).
