Hi Daniel, it looks like from the message that the file size is too big. Try compressing it into a zip file and submitting it that way.

I have submitted a document for grading twice in class PF321-H1WW, it seemed to work, but when I went into the lesson later, it seems as if there is nothing there. My class starts on Jan 4, and the assignment is due on Jan 10. Am I too early?

Hi John, when you go back to the assignment, click on the document icon with the blue number. This should expand all the files you have associated with the assignment. Look for a green check mark to validate that the assignment was successfully submitted. I hope this helps.

Misty, I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with submissions. I sent you an email requesting more details to make sure we can get it resolved.

I received a notification that I received 0 on a paper that I submitted. When I look at the assignment I can see the assignment is pinned--is it possible that I forgot a step and it is just sitting there?

After adding an assignment and having it 'pinned', you need to click the 'submit for grading' button in order for it to be submitted to the instructor.

Paul, is there any log of uploaded but not "submitted" assignments available to the instructor. I've had the same problem as Dara above twice now. Both times were while travelling with spotty internet service. I would like to be able to prove I had uploaded assignments on time, but for some reason they did not show "submitted".

@Andrew The instructor can only view files that have been submitted for grading.

I submitted two written assignments (uploaded to the required Dropbox) and received email receipts for the submissions on Saturday night. Monday, I learned that I had received a grade of zero for both assignments because the instructor only received a blank page for one and a black page for the other. I reported this to the Helpdesk and was advised that my ticket would be created and processed. My instructor asked me to resubmit them. I cannot resubmit the assignment through the Dropbox (it's been locked) and the instructor believes he doesn't have access to lock or unlock the Dropbox. Are there instructions available that I can pass along?

Yes Dayna, here is a link to that article https://bluequill.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/225255447-Tool-Lock

If a student updates a file and then re-submits a paper (having marked the first paper as "submit for grading"), is there a way for the student to go back and remove or update the status of the original submission?

Jane, if a student re-submits the same file (with the same file name) after it's been updated, they will have the option to either "replace existing" file or "change name and upload". Replace will overwrite the previous file whereas changing the name will submit it as a second file. The student cannot delete or remove a file after it has been submitted.

However, once the faculty member views or downloads the submission, the assignment becomes "locked". The faculty member can unlock the assignment per student in the hub when that assignment and student are selected.
